SEW BASIC Beginning Sewing II
Group Project Based class focused on mastering your sewing machine and its special features and feet. Please take Sew Simple before Sew Basic if you have no previous sewing machine knowledge.

February 3,17,24,March 3 Tuesdays 6-8pm
What it is: You will make small functional project every week that incorporate basic skills that focus on function and closures. Learn Bindings, Linings, Blind Hems, Buttonholes & Zippers. Most Materials Provided. If you already know how to thread and operate your machine, but don’t know how to start and finish a project with success this is your class.
Cost: $160.00 (4 weeks 2 hours per week)

SEW SKILLED
You've got basic sewing skills and are ready to embark onto more complex projects! The perfect follow up class to Sew Basic. You can run your first pattern or your 10th. Or work on Skills that need fine tuning for your specific project.

What it is: Learn how to sew from patterns, fabric selection, garment construction, tools of the trade, you will select a pattern and make one or two garments from start to finish tailored to your measurements then focus on detail elements and closure techniques. To complete a more complex project student will need to do their homework! This is a continuing education style class. ***Student will Provide pattern and fabric for Project and bring their sewing machine. Patterns should be approved ahead of class for beginners (first pattern).

SEW FOCUSED
Intermediate or advanced class for sewists with a focus on making clothing. Student is expected to arrive prepared with projects to receive consultation, fitting assistance, cut and or sew.

What is it: Continuing Education Day class Purchase 2 , 4 , 6 or 8 pack of classes and reserve your dates in the notes at Check out. Maximum 5 student per class per day ***Student will Provide pattern project and fabric for Project and bring their sewing machine and or serger.

SEW U.M.A.
Learn how to up cycle like a green designer, to mend as a renegade seamstress and alter like a tailor in this beginner friendly class.
You must have working knowledge of your sewing machine. Please take Sew Simple and Sew basic if time allows, as these classes cover most beginner skills.

What It Is: The class where you learn to retro fit, fix and alter your clothes to fit your body. Students are asked to bring a variety of garments that require work. This a flexible course of study intended to help individuals meet their own wardrobe issues authentically. This is a machine based class although some hand sewing may be required.
Cost: $170.00 (4 weeks 2 hours per week)

Kids, Tweens & Teens Sewing Workshop
We provide materials, projects and most materials! Learn to create with fabric, sewing instruction provided to assist student’s interests and individual projects

What it is: Design and sew your own projects at your pace. Build a cosplay costume or garment to your specifications. Bring sketches, ideas, patterns, fabric and trims. We provide instruction and have patterns and fabric to make it happen. Your preteen/ teen will learn about fashion design from concept to fabrication to finish. Portfolio preparation for college available upon request.

We rotate the night of the week that we offer certain classes. Sew if you want to sequentially follow the course curriculum from Sew Simple to Sew Basic you can do it with ease. Sew Skilled will be on Thursdays for continuing ed students.
You will receive a discount when purchasing an 8 or 12 week series. When you purchase 2 or 3 classes at the same time you may use these coupon codes:

The fine print:
Our classes are small and your online purchase of a class guarantees your spot, we cannot issue class refunds for no shows or cancellations less then two weeks from the start date of class.
We do our best to offer one make up class per class purchase. These dates set at the beginning of the session and must be reserved.
All Group Classes are 2 hours in length. If your class becomes a private lesson (due to attendance) your class will run for 1 1/2 hours.
2025 Unfulfilled class packages will expire on 11/30/25
If you have miss or cancel your original session less than the two week cancellation notice: you may fill in during the next session if there is an open spot, please follow up by call or text for availability. If you miss the second rescheduled session your held spot cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
