Group Project Based class focused on mastering your sewing machine and its special features and feet. Please take Sew Simple before Sew Basic if you have no previous sewing machine knowledge.

What it is: You will make small functional project every week that incorporate basic skills that focus on function and closures. Learn Bindings, Blind and Rolled Hems, Buttonholes & Zippers. Most Materials Provided. If you already now how to thread and operate your machine, but don’t know how to start and finish a project with success this is your class.

***Class Notes: BYO Sewing Machine and...You've got basic sewing skills and are ready to embark onto more complex projects! The perfect follow up class to Sew Basic. You can run your first pattern or your 10th. Or work on Skills that need fine tuning for your specific project.

What it is: Learn how to sew from patterns, fabric selection, garment construction, tools of the trade, you will select a pattern and make one or two garments from start to finish tailored to your measurements then focus on detail elements and closure techniques. To complete a more complex project student will need to do their homework! This is a continuing education style class.

What it is: Unlock the magic of this amazing machine and lose the fear in a ton of fun. Each week we will learn how to use with sergers to further improve your sewing projects and inspire new ways to create with this multidimensional tool.
We provide materials, projects and materials! Learn to create with fabric, sewing instruction provided to assist student’s interests and individual projects

What it is: Design and sew your own projects at your pace. Build a cosplay costume or garment to your specifications. Bring sketches, ideas, patterns, fabric and trims. We provide instruction and have patterns and fabric to make it happen. Your preteen/ teen will learn about fashion design from concept to fabrication to finish. Portfolio preparation for college available upon request.
What is it? Creative weekly workshop for a child and one of their parents or guardians; who both want to get started or keep working on their sewing skills. Learn hand and machine sewing. Each week we will do a new make it - take it project that you can make and bring home. You will learn how to help your child with these new sewing skills while also learning yourself about sewing from concept to fabrication to finish. Ages 5-10 and 1 adult participant.

The fine print:
Our classes are small and your online purchase of a class guarantees your spot, we cannot issue class refunds for no shows or cancellations less then two weeks from the start date of class.
We do our best to offer one make up class per class purchase. That date can be redeemed on a Sew Saturday 3-5pm. These dates set at the beginning of the session and must be reserved.
All Group Classes are 2 hours in length. If your class becomes a private lesson (due to attendance) your class will run for 1 1/2 hours.
2024 Unfulfilled class packages will expire on 11/30/24
If you miss or cancel your original session you may fill in during the next session if there is an open spot, please follow up by call or text for availability. If you miss the second rescheduled session your held spot cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
