SEW U. M. A. Up Cycling, Mending and Alterations Class

SEW U.M.A. The class where you learn to retro fit, fix and alter your clothes to fit your body. Student are asked to bring a variety of garments that require help. This a flexable course of study intended to help individuals meet their own wardrobe issues authentically. 4 weeks 2hr classes  offered monthly for Adults. Bring your own machine*

 Students should have a working knowledge of their sewing machine. This is a machine based class although some hand sewing may be required.

U is for Up Cycling where we cut up your clothing and make it into something new.

M is for Mending when a repair is required of the textile or weave. We will cover invisble and visible mending. seam, hem and Zipper repairs, etc

A is for Alteration how to alter the fit of pre-made garment. changing the length, taking in and or letting out.
