4 weeks 2hr classes  offered monthly  Bring your own machine* project materials required ( some materials provided on need basis)

Beginning Sewing II 

(Please take Sew Simple before Sew Basic.)

This class is focused on project construction, finishing and closures. You will learn how to use your different sewing machine feet. You will install  Buttonholes , Buttons & Zippers with your machine.    A working knowledge of how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, as covered in Sew Simple Beginning Sewing I are required.

Materials required:

Week 1: Your machine, spool of thread.

Week 2: One Men's long sleeve dress shirt and one pack of 1/2" wide double fold bias tape

Week 3:  2 fat quarters  of 2 coordinating cotton fabrics 

Week 4:  One yard or two 1/2 yards or fabric remnants and a new pillow form 12x12" or 14x14" or up-cycled form. *
