Sew Saturdays / AMU Alterations, Mending & Up Cycling

Bring it our own project / Learn how to alter, mend, change the fit, and up cycle just about anything!  

This is an all levels class. Please have a working knowledge of your sewing machine, or learn by hand techniques. You will bring several garments to be altered, mended or up cycled and receive specific instructions for the skills required.  

Suggested course of study. Bring 1-2 projects per week:

Week 1: Hemming/ Lengthening                                                                                       Week 2: Patching, Mending 
Week 3: Tapering/ Letting Out seams/ Fabric Inserts.                                                    Week 4: General Repairs/  Zippers/ Buttons
